Arlandis Jones to Speak at Tarrant County Green Party

Exciting News Tarrant County!

 ajonesredx.jpg

This Saturday, at our regular monthly meeting, Arlandis Jones will be speaking to us...

about human rights, particularly as it pertains to two special recent cases in Tarrant and Dallas counties, the Jacqueline Craig case in Fort Worth in which she was assaulted by a Fort Worth police officer, and the Jordan Edwards murder in Dallas by a Dallas police officer.

Mr. Jones is a human rights activist, and a professor of English and Communications at Tarrant County College Southeast campus where he has recently taught a course in third party politics. He is also a part-time instructor at Bowie High School in Arlington.

As a professor at a TCC campus, Mr. Jones hopes to organize a Green Party chapter on campus. The Tarrant County chapter is fortunate to have him speak with us this coming weekend.

If you can possibly attend, this is a meeting that will be educational and most helpful as we begin to set forth an agenda to fight police violence in our communities as well as to establish college campus chapters at all our universities in Tarrant County.
